The Best Phone Under 40,000 Rupees in India

Smartphone under 40000

In India, this is an intriguing period for high-end smartphones. Prices are presently rising across the board in the industry as a consequence of inflation, currency swings, and continued supply chain disruption. The sub-Rs. 30,000 and sub-Rs. 40,000 pricing bands are now receiving the focus of phone makers instead of the Rs. 20,000 categories. When the time comes to upgrade, many consumers in India are interested in upgrading to higher-end models since the market there is maturing.

With a price of up to Rs. 40,000, you may get some top-notch gadgets with modern specs, enough processing power for gaming, and good camera quality. Manufacturers have gone to great pains to differentiate their products in terms of design, so you could notice things like super rapid charging, an IP certification, and a massive amount of RAM and storage. Surprisingly, when compared to their more expensive equivalents, these phones also provide amazing value. Also, all these devices that come under this 40,000 bracket will get an upgrade to Android 13.

The top smartphones in India under 40,000 INR, as suggested by Technogadgetz are as follows

Nothing Phone 1

Nothing Phone 1

The Nothing Phone 1 should be at the top of your list if you’re looking for a phone that defies convention or has an entirely unique appearance from anything else presently on the market. Anywhere you go, your phone will shine out because of its transparent design, which includes a pair of deftly arranged LED light strips. Even though the lights don’t change colour, they can dance according to a ringtone, display the current level of charge when plugged in, and flash in response to alerts. This mid-range device really packs a punch, especially considering that its distinctive design is also IP53-rated for protection from water and dust. Additionally, it provides wireless charging at a very low beginning price. Nothing doesn’t include a charger in the package, and charging rates aren’t the best in its category.

OnePlus 10R 5G

OnePlus 10R 5G

The curved back and rounded corners of the OnePlus 10R make its design seem more rounded than crisp. It’s possible that some people may find it appealing, while others will find it to be quite strange looking and very different from the typical rounded and curved designs that OnePlus is known for. One of the few phones in this price range that supports 150W wired charging, plus a 160W charger is included in the box, the OnePlus 10R Endurance Edition is now a very compelling option, regardless of your stance. The camera takes decent pictures in bright light and dim environments, but it isn’t the finest in its class. The battery life is respectable, and the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC and 120Hz refresh rate display are a winning gaming combination. We regret to inform you, devoted OnePlus user, that the device is missing the esteemed alert slider.

iQoo 9 SE

iQoo 9 SE

The iQoo 9 SE seems to be fairly upscale. Although there isn’t a formal IP classification, the dual speakers are excellent and provide terrific audio when streaming videos and playing games. Punchy colours are produced by the 6.62-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display, which is HDR10+ certified. Although Android 12’s software is slick and responsive, this phone has an excessive number of third-party applications preloaded. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC offers excellent gaming performance, and in our testing, the 4,500mAh battery lasted 1.5 days on a single charge. Although the camera’s performance in natural light is remarkable, we had higher hopes for the ultra-wide-angle lens. Additionally, the iQoo 9 SE produces excellent selfies and amazing macro shots.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, which takes the place of the Galaxy A52s 5G and shares many of its specifications, has a sleek appearance thanks to designing cues from the high-end Galaxy S22 series. Those hoping for a decent gaming phone will need to go elsewhere since the new Exynos 1280 SoC performs at budget-level standards. A plus is that the dust and water resistance has an IP67 certification. In bright light, camera performance for still images and videos is excellent; in dim light, it is mediocre. With light usage, the 5,000mAh battery life of this phone lasts two days. Samsung doesn’t include a charger with the phone, although it does support 25W rapid charging.

Pros

  1. Super-sharp 120 Hz AMOLED display
  2. IP67 certification
  3. Premium quality stereo speakers
  4. Daylight camera performance is great

Cons

  1. Decent camera for low light
  2. Poor video capture in dim light
  3. Preinstalled bloatware

Xiaomi 11T Pro

Xiaomi 11T Pro

With a mid-frame made of polycarbonate sandwiched between two pieces of glass, the Xiaomi 11T Pro isn’t very distinctive in terms of style. But more because of its Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, it offers excellent all-around performance. It’s a terrific offer because of its appealing pricing and features. Accurate colours are shown on its Dolby Vision-certified AMOLED display. Dolby Atmos compatibility provides stereo sound, enabling immersive video streaming. This phone has excellent battery life and may be used casually for up to two days on a single charge. A 120W fast charger is also included in the package. The quality of selfies in low light exceptions for the camera performance is fairly excellent.

Pros

  1. A crisp display that supports Dolby Vision
  2. Crystal-clear stereo speakers
  3. Outstanding performance
  4. Camera with good stills and video quality
  5. Handy 120W charger

Cons

  1. Includes several preinstalled applications
  2. The ultra-wide angle camera falls short.
  3. Average performance of a selfie camera in low light
  4. IP Rating is unavailable

Motorola Edge 20 Pro

Motorola Edge 20 Pro

The 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display on the Motorola Edge 20 Pro offers a refresh rate of 144Hz. It is solidly built, and the front and back both include Corning Gorilla Glass 5 in addition to an aluminium frame. For resistance to water and dust, it has an IP52 rating. 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage are paired with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. A 30W charger and a 4,500mAh battery are included in the package. Motorola offers a nearly stock version of Android 12 with a few small customizations. A 108-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and an 8-megapixel 5X telephoto camera are all included on the Edge 20 Pro. Good photos were captured in the daytime, particularly close-ups. When photographing distant subjects, the telephoto lens might be helpful. But the performance of the low-light camera fell short of expectations.

Pros

  1. A 144Hz refresh rate display
  2. Strong SoC ready for 5G
  3. Two years worth of promised software updates
  4. A 5x telephoto lens
  5. Rating IP52

Cons

  1. Slower charging compared to rivals
  2. Camera performance in low light needs to be improved

Realme GT Neo 2

A good midrange gaming smartphone is this one. The cooling system does a superb job of maintaining the high levels of raw performance that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 CPU delivers. A vivid Neo Green and two more subdued hues are also offered for the Realme GT Neo 2. With a few gaming sessions, the 5,000mAh battery comfortably lasts a day and a half. While playing games or watching movies, the twin speakers’ strong volume creates an immersive environment. The performance of the camera is, at best, mediocre. The GT Neo 2 is not an all-arounder despite having strong daytime performance but less spectacular low-light photos and video.

Recently, Realme released the GT Neo 3, which we have not yet tested. Similar in many ways to the GT Neo 3 (150W), it fared well in our testing, although it costs more than Rs. 40,000.

Pros

  1. 120Hz high-quality AMOLED display
  2. Fast 65W charging
  3. Stereo speaker
  4. Powerful gaming experience
  5. Fantastic battery life

Cons

  1. Performance of cameras is average
