Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max with Dolby Vision Support is launched in India.

Amazon has added a new model to its Fire TV Stick family of streaming media Fire TV Stick 4K Max. The new Fire TV Stick version replaces the existing Fire TV Stick 4K. Some reports claim that the Fire TV Stick 4K Max is the company’s most immeasurable streaming stick yet, with more durable performance and next-generation Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is the first model to support the Dolby Vision format. Here are the specifications of the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max discussed below.

Specifications and features of the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K max

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is 40% more robust than the Fire TV Stick 4K, acknowledgments to its quad-core MediaTek MT8696 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz, 2GB of RAM, and an IMG GE8300 GPU clocked at 750MHz. The Fire TV Stick 4K, on the other hand, features a quad-core processor running at 1.7GHz, 1.5GB of RAM, and an IMG GE8300 GPU running at 650MHz. These Fire TV Stick 4K Max and the Fire TV Stick 4K come with 8GB of onboard storage from Amazon.

Along with the faster processors, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max includes the MediaTek MT7921LS chipset, which enables Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

Wi-Fi 6

The Wi-Fi 6 support is intentional to help deliver a good experience with no lag when streaming. However, a compatible router is required to access the built-in Wi-Fi 6 support.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max carries Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac networks and has reverse compatibility.

Dolby Vision

Aside from Wi-Fi 6, the other difference between the Fire TV Stick 4K Max and Fire TV Stick 4K is Dolby Vision support on the former. 

Other formats, such as HDR10 and HDR10+, are also supported. In addition, the new Fire TV Stick supports Dolby Atmos for an immersive audio experience on compatible TVs and with select content.

Alexa Voice 

Amazon has also included a third-generation Alexa Voice Remote is released in March, with the Fire TV Stick 4K Max. The same thing is available with the standard Fire TV Stick. It has dedicated buttons for accessing Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, and Netflix. The remote also includes a button that allows you to access the installed apps.

Live View

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max includes Live View support that enables users to view a picture-in-picture feed of their video doorbells and security cameras while watching other content on the TV. The feature is compatible with smart home and security devices is available on the Fire TV Cube.

Cost and Availability

The Cost of the Amazon Fire TV Sticks 4K Max is Rs. 6,499 in India. It is now available for pre-order beginning on October 7.
